Gerard Pizarro serves as Writer-Director for VIPMobile Pictures. Gerard earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Laws and Juris Doctor degrees from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Gerard is a member of the Bar of the United States District Court and the State Bar of California since 1992. In 1999 and 2005 Gerard successfully prosecuted and defended multi-million dollar civil judgments relating to employment litigation. In 2000, Gerard co-founded VIPMobile, Inc., a private enterprise that provides applied research and development for US government agencies. Gerard was instrumental in contributing over $3M in government contracts while serving as VIPMobile's Chief Executive Officer. Gerard was trained at Actors Center of San Francisco, San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking, and USC School of Cinematic Arts-Warner Brothers Producing and Directing course. Gerard is currently training at Studio A.C.T. at American Conservatory Theater through 2011. “Blood on Canvas” is Gerard's first feature film and is based on a former law client who was a promising young painter but suffered a catastrophic loss while violently pursuing romance, her artistic aspirations and ultimately, her redemption. Script development and pre-production began in January 2010. Production and post-production will be completed by December 2010.
Wendy P. Campbell – Executive Producer Wendy P. Campbell is an executive producer of independent feature films for VIPMobile Pictures, a business division of VIPMobile, Inc. VIPMobile Pictures is an entertainment content provider, based in San Francisco, CA, that develops and produces a variety of high quality film, motion picture, new media, television and print content. Through her life experiences and unique perspective as an attorney, entrepreneur, educator, community volunteer and wife/mother/sister/friend, Wendy’s focus is to bring great stories to life - stories of triumph and tragedy that inspire passion, love and laughter and touch hearts and minds - even long after the story is told. Wendy is currently producing her first motion picture, entitled “Blood on Canvas”, a suspense/thriller, which follows the intersecting lives of a talented and struggling artist, Emma, and an ambitious lawyer, Henry. Emma is an aspiring painter who tries to pursue her artistic aspirations, but gets caught up in an intoxicating romance that threatens her life. Henry is the lawyer that advocates to seek truth and redemption –for Emma and ultimately, for himself. Since 2000, Wendy leads VIPMobile's operations, sales & marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships and program management functions. VIPMobile, the parent of VIPMobile Pictures, provides innovative applied research, design and development of advanced technology solutions primarily for U.S. Government customers. Wendy’s current law practice, as managing partner of Pizarro Campbell, LLP, is multi-disciplinary and mainly provides representation to small business owners, entrepreneurs and artists with a concentration in the following areas: entertainment, intellectual property, licensing, corporate, start-up formation, unlawful detainer work for landlords and estate planning for estates under $3M. Wendy previously worked as a technology and corporate securities attorney in the Silicon Valley offices of Venture Law Group (now merged with Heller Ehrman) and Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now merged with DLA Piper) where she represented primarily internet-based high tech companies and facilitated their start up and growth at various stages of their life cycles from seed and venture financings to liquidity events, such as initial public offerings and mergers & acquisitions. She also represented venture capitalists and underwriters in a variety of corporate transactions. She also worked in the entertainment law industry in Los Angeles representing the talent side of business, including, screen writers, musicians and producers, in licensing and production deals. Wendy was previously a teaching fellow in the Department of Government at Harvard University where she was awarded the Derek C. Bok Award for Excellence in Teaching. Wendy is a member of the Federal Bar of the United States District Courts and the State Bar of California. Wendy earned a B.A. and M.A., magna cum laude, in political science / international relations from Yale University; a M.ST. in Modern History, specifically 19th century British Commonwealth History, from Oxford University, England, as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar; and a J.D. from the Harvard Law School. Wendy, a California resident with parents originally from the Philippines, has always been an avid traveler who has lived several years in Spain, Italy and England and has travelled to diverse countries and places in Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East, Caribbean and South America. She is proficient in both Spanish and Italian. During her gap year after grad school, she spent a year travelling around the world. Her other interests include volunteering, reading, current events, politics, music, the arts, sports, entertaining and spending time with friends and family, especially her husband, Brian, and two young sons, Jack and TJ.
