EICT™ System Requirements

EICT™ requires the following system components:

• Digital Camera
  EICT™ is compatible with most current, popular, readily-available, state-of-the-art USB-enabled digital cameras.

• PC Platform
  EICT™ is designed to run on any standard Windows XP Pro PC or laptop, such as the CF-19 Toughbook for rugged field use. Currently, EICT™ is not compatible with Mac computers.

• Iridium Satellite Phone Equipment
  EICT™ requires the satellite phone and compatible Iridium data kit (Internet software drivers and cables).

• Iridium Dial-up Internet Data Service
  Provides dial-up access to the Internet and to the FTP server where the EICT™ images will be stored and available for download.

• FTP Server
  Compatible with any customer-designated FTP server. There are several web-based companies that provide FTP server storage and access for nominal monthly usage fees. Some of these may include: http://www.quickftpsites.com and http://www.ftptoday.com.
